Attica, Dec 24 – Mrs. Eva Auter, 70, died suddenly of a heart attack last evening at the home of a neighbor, Zilliah Van Reed. She had been in failing health for several months. Born near here in February 1864, she was a daughter of Peter and Sarah Auter. She spent all her life in this community. On Dec 8, 1887, she married Julius Auter. Survivors are a son, Ingold Auter, near Covington; three brothers and two sisters, Thomas Auter, near Attica; Sol, Covington; John, Rob Roy; Mrs. Susie Jones, Warren County, and Mrs. John Williams, Rob Roy. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon; burial in Beulah cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
